Do you listen to podcasts? According to the Pew Research Center in 2016*, 21% of Americans aged over 12 had listened to a podcast in the previous month, up from 12% in 2013. It’s still a minority, but it’s growing fast.
March is #trypod month, with big publishers and podcasters encouraging their listeners to encourage their friends to ‘try a podcast’.
I’m encouraging you to listen to The Extraordinary Business Book Club if you’re not already a listener, of course, but here are some of my other recommendations (links are to iTunes, but other podcast subscription services are available):
The Creative Penn – Joanna Penn covers both fiction and non-fiction and as one of the best-respected indie authors in the business gets great guests and asks excellent questions.
The TED Radio Hour – eclectic but never less than fascinating: I love the mix of human stories and cutting-edge concepts.
Book Shambles – Robin Ince and Josie Long with very funny, very intelligent book chat and top-drawer guests
Happier – Gretchen Rubin on making life a little better every day
