It’s been an extraordinary morning: I’ve woken up to President Trump, and am more saddened than surprised. Angry, desperate people have taken the opportunity to kick the system. I don’t do political commentary on this blog and I’m not about to start now. So the point of this post is simply to observe that all you can control in this life is your own response to people, events, life.
Whatever’s happening in your life/world right now, you might not have chosen to start from here, but your focus needs to be where you go from here.
And this morning, shell-shocked, I went for a run with a good friend in beautiful Cornwall – to be rewarded by the most beautiful rainbow. Hanging on to the promise that it represents.
