Here’s a bit of news you might not have expected: the latest must-have Apple product is a book. Yes, an actual print book.
Designed by Apple in California is beautiful (of course), bound in white lined with embossing and silver-edged paper, and contains 450 luscious shots of iconic Apple design and the processes behind them. It’s £249 in the UK, or you can buy the ‘mini’ version for only £169. (In case you haven’t been in a bookshop recently, that’s quite a bit more than your average novel.)
A stunning example of both the power of the physical book and the value of the brand, and with sales of iPads, iPhones and Macs all down in Q4 last year, it might be a more significant revenue stream than you think.
